SAProuter Service is not starting

Whenever I start SAProuter service it gives me error message

"<b><b>Could not start SAProuter Service on Local computer. Error 1067: The Process terminated unexpectedly</b></b>" and when i check the event log for the error, it shows me

"<u><i>The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( SAProuter ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Error: 997, Could not open permission table</i></u>."

I am using my domain user to startup the service (user through which i did the complete installation ie SID<adm>.

Kindly help me on this issue.

Dear Majid,

Firstly this is not an Solution Manager issue. But still let me help you with this one :

Initially please review and implement the suggestions in the following SAP note :

525751 Installation of the SNC SAPRouter as NT Service

I have found other customers have solved this latest issue by setting

the SECUDIR and SNC_LIB environment variables as SYSTEM variables

as oppsed to user variables.

Please can you try this?

Another suggestion is to make a copy of sapcrypto.dll and name it

sncgss32.dll...

And also:

Please also check, if the certificate has been imported correctly with

the following command.

sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer

The name of the Issuer should be:

CN=SAProuter CA, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE
