NWDI in NW architecture

Hi all,

Can the component NWDI be used in the same time by both usage type : (only one installation)

- PI (only CMS) with XI tracks

- EP (CMS + DTR + CBS) with java tracks

Can you confir to me :

If there is a Solution manager in the landscape the best is to install NWDI on the Java stack of it

If there is not one, install it on the Java stack of one of both usage type (PI or EP)

Hi,

Yes you can try it.

NWDI is Installed for version mgt of all java instances hence It is better to to be in solution manager, Where the SLD can be used as a central one.

Thanks a lot,

I just want to be sure it's ok to use the same CMS componentn to manage Java dev transport and XI transport in the same time.

Do someone have an experience with it ?
