We are using EBP 4.0 system

We have entered default langage english.

requirement is some users want the description in local language.

So the users are entering the text in local language and completeing the SC.But when the PR gets created in backend it just shows weird characters. We logged on even in the local language and checked.Still showing some weird characters.

Any idea what is to be done

Hi,

If your problem is really between unicode and non-unicode system, please take a look in OSS note 548016 and the related notes as well...

The local language is chinese and Japanese. When I try to transfer the text as it is to R/3 it gives me characters like ##. Our R/3 system is not unicode but EBP system is unicode.
