PDS Generation Issue with Operations with no activities

Dear Friends,

We are in the process of implementing SNP with PDS. While creating PDS for SNP from ECC 5.0 in CIF, We see messages in the QRFC logs saying <b>'Operations has no Activities', 'Message no. U9014'.</b>

Also there are no activity number and Resource associated in the PDS in SCM. We are using the standard integration without any enhancements.

also the IT_Modes table in the CIF queue is empty.

All the master data (location, product, resource) are already integrated to SCM.

Please let us know how the resource association with the PDS can be set.

Hi Shaun

Please make sure that the operation has carried Time in it and cross check the time enetered against the activity for an operation is as per the formula attached to the work center and also the Standard value key

Also cross check whether Cost center and activity types are maintained for the work center

For ex- SVK- SAP1 which has set up , Machine and labor

Formula assigned to capacity is SAP005/SAP006 or SAP007 and for Scheduling SAP001 and SAP002, the the time entered should match the corresponding activities

Thanks. I had to maintain the scheduling formulae in the Work Center. It did the trick. I didnt have to maintain the activity type in the Routing.

Hi Shaun -

1) Please create a production version in R/3

2) Create an integration model with settings ( SNP PDS)

3) Activate the integration model and your production version should show up as PDS in APO.

If you have multiple prod versions, you would see multiple PDS.
