Solman upgrade 3.2 Non-unicode to 4.0 unicode

Hi all,

We are planning to upgrade and convert solman 3.2 which is a Non-unicode to unicode solman 4.0 , what is the stragry to follow to achive this.

I came across some blogs inoforming first upgrade then convert to unicode is it the same or any Combine upgrade and unicode convert is there.

Is it the same process changing code page to 4102 thru r3load and importing back to unicode kernal ?

any suggestions please.....

We did the conversion in the 3.2 system and then upgraded the Unicode system. A combined upgrade and UC conversion can become pretty complicated.

and download there the appropriate guide for your Basis support package.

Follow the guide attentively and don´t underestimate the work for the preparation.
