I tried to install the MAX DB 7.5 on an nt machine.

It hang up with a popup of network connection error.

The instance J2E exists but does not accept the users and passwords given in installation. I can´t remove the instance and when i try to make new installation it says needed instance free space is 170 and have only 122..

How can i remove this instance??

Thanks Marcel

Hi Mark,

OSS can be described as SAP's central (problem) message handling system. Note 599129 is a note describing howto deinstall your MaxDB or SAP DB software. It's full title is 'Using SDBUNINST to uninstall MaxDB/SAP DB software'.

If you're an SAP customer, you should have access to OSS or the SAP Service Marketplace where you can find such notes.

If you're not an SAP customer, but Open Source, then I could describe to you what to do.

Kind regards,

Roland

Hi Roland,

I have already posted my issue thread

Could you please look into it as the db_warm -f fails after restoration.
