ZDATE_LARGE_TIME_DIFF after LOGIN with SAP LOGON 7.0

Hallo,

i have installed SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version (incl. Web Dynpro ABAP).

Installation finished o.k. After starting SAp LOGON 7.0 i get a runtim error:

Large time difference between application server and database.

Is this only an installation error ?? What can i do now , i am a newbie in SAP.

My local time belt is GMT +1h...is it necessary to change ?

Pleas help me..what i can do ...thx.

did you install everything (database instance/Central Instance) on one box or on multiple boxes?

I have installed software on my laptop ...all to together . My OS ist WIN XP SP2 with 2Gbyte RAM.

there should be a little more information about the database time and the kernel time in the output - difference in seconds??

in the Runtime Error Description Exeption i see:

The difference between database and application server....

dump 3600 sec

which is exactly one hour or DST (daylight saving time).

what does the clock setting tell you (double click on the clock on the explorer)

which timezone do you have choosen, DST active?

The DST was activ during installation ..now i have disabled this and startet the system again. but the difference of 1h is always there.

can you check if TZ environment variable is set?

where ? on my Windows System or in SAP ?

windows: TZ = GST1GDT

in Windows, where SAP/DB are running

delete it, then reboot

i deleted the TZ variable and after reboot the SAP TRIAL VERSION Works fine.. !!!
