Hi Viswas,

Normally in the resumes the break for each phase of the project will not be mentioned.

The Project Name and the duration of the project, Client, our role, No. of consultants involved etc will be mentioned.

And we give short description about the project. Like the clients profile.

But no need to mentioned support duration and golive duration.

Hope this is clear.

REWARD IF HELPFUL.

Regards,

Praveen

dear viswas,

what you want to mention in the resume?

is it implementation or support?

if it is implementation you have to mention the start date to till golive.

if it is support you can mention after the golive, but at any point of time

you wount mention the dates of the phases

its better to mention the project name and duration of your efforts in that project,

like you may or may not be there in that project from the start date.

i hope its clear for you

rewards pls

hi...

u dont have to mention the support dates..

as per ur example:my project started in jan 2006 ended in june 2006 (6 months) go live support started from july 2006(1 month).

now how can I show my project period 6 months or 7 months.

u show it as 6 months only.. as because is Support is always there for the client.. once the project is implemented, its automatically understood that u r the people giving support to the client.. so no need to mention that period.. if the interviewer asks how abt support then u can mention that we have provided support for certain period

simply u can mention
