How bom works, please explain..

If i want to know in CS03, what is the bom usage for a item? How shoud i know?

Hi,

BOM is a formal structured list of the components that make up a product or assembly. The list contains the object number of each component, together with the quantity and unit of measure. I also defines a fixed ratio/relationship between the header materail and components used for manufacturing it.

By means of BOM usage, you can manage separate bills of material for various internal organizational areas (engineering/design, production, costing, and so on).

Usage:

1 Production

2 Engineering/design

3 Universal

4 Plant maintenance

5 Sales and distribution

6 Costing

7 Empties

8 Stability Study
