i have a file to file sccenario, with no BPM ....

and a simple message mapping,

when the scenario runs, the sender file communication channel picks up the file from the source destination, but nothing reaches the integration engine....

in the communication channel monitoring i can see the following error:

Transmitting the message to endpoint http://incata10:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.MessagingException: Could not parse XMBMessage due to invalid content type for SOAP: APPLICATION/OCTET-STREAM.

pls help.....i m testing in a test system...!!

Dhar,

Can you change the mode to binary in your sender communication channel and give a shot. Also do you have any special characters in your source file. Can you please give couple of records in your file also?

<<Can you change the mode to binary >>

its in binary

<<special characters in your source file>>

i think there is none....still since the file is created in Windows and the source directory is in UNIX...it may cause addition of special characters...i ll check it and get back

K,

The pipeline URL has to be - http://<hostname>:<HTTPPort>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

incata10 -> is the host testing system >?

I suppose you need to recheck you HTTP port.
