hi all,

i have som basic questions..during implementation of SAP ,the security guy will restrict the users not to access the role which are not defined for the users..here the users means functional guys n technical guys? n after production n go live he ll restrict the end users??

som1 pls expalin me clearly b4 the production support and aftr th eproduction support---role of security guy..

Hi Kevin,

Security administrator will assign users with particular roles and authorization based on the activity he does.

Some organizations will have go through several approvals before actually a user is created and assigned with roles and authorization.

Security admin will handle user creation, creation of roles, providing autorizations and creations of various customized profiles.

He will continue to do these activities all along the project but he also will support in troubleshooting issues related to user authorizations and audits.
