Hi,

Its great to see that SAP is once again doing something in the mobile space, but can you please clarify for us is if SAP now finally supports:

- Blackberry in a disconnected mode, not just online

- Symbian devices in a disconnected mode, not just online

- WIndows Mobile devices in a disconnected mode, not just online

- WIndows Smart Phone devices in a disconnected mode, not just online

As these are the devices that my customers need, and in the past the only devices that SAP Mobile really worked on was a laptop.

Thanks

Hi MG,

Please open another thread for your questions as this thread is already closed. Chances are very less that people will look into this thread as the status is closed.

Also, in the past & present SAP Mobile not worked only on a laptop but also on the PDA.

Hi

NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 is infact the successor to MI 2.5 and MI 7.0 or in other words the next major release after MI 2.5 (MI 2.5 and MI 7.0 have the same architecture). 7.1 has been completely re-architected and has various improvements in terms of Scalability, Device Management, Data Volume and so on. At the same time there is a compatibility layer in 7.1 which would enable applications currently running on MI2.5 and MI 7.0 to also run on 7.1. For more information please refer to this link and other documents present under

http://service.sap.com/instguides and then navigate to

-> SAP NetWeaver

-> SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1

-> Installation

Hope this helps

Best Regards
