Hi friends
does sap support million sales orders per week?
and if so how to do that?
Thanks
Prasad
Hi
SAP will definitely support this, but the question is whether the organisation can produce/procure and manage such huge amounts of inventory. I really doubt why an organisation should create 1million orders per week i.e. 52 million order per year.
If you can explain you need so many orders, it will be useful to us.
This may also affect the system performance based on the servers, location etc.
Reward if this helps.

Yeah for SAP it is just another processing for data, so it should not prevent you from processing 1 million orders per week.
But can a business handle that kind of load in real time.
Is it a scenario that you are asking or having a good laugh over possibilities like this in Real time.

AK
SAP should actually support it, considering that Orders are punched from same location or several location.
Alternatively, Orders are created in background through Flat File upload & / or Batch Processing to create Sales Order
However, the main issue here will be considering the server sizing.
