trading partners configuration EDI,XI Seeburger

Hi,

let say ,if we are implementing EDI B2B integration using XI and Seeburger adapter .where we configure trading partners?how would we know from which partner the document is coming from?

what would be the case if dont have Seeburger in action and with conversion agent?

thank you,I know we need to create Party in ID and i have the document which you have given.

in gentran we set up partners on Gentran server ,is there any way like that to set up for Seeburger adapter too?

Hey

as far as i m aware of,No we dont.

see party in XI does the work of Partner,infact i haven't seen people using the word "Partner" in SAP XI world,its either customer or vendor,Partner is extensively used in Gentran and Webmethods,in XI the external business entities are termed as Party and they are configured in ID
