Table BDS_CONT1 growing.

Hello, I have discovered a table 'BDS_CONT1' that is growing an average of 1.5 GB per month and is now at 38 GB.

I have done some research and found very little about this table. I think it has something to do with a CRM system which we are not running. I would like to know why this table is growing so much and what I can do to shrink it back down if that is even a possibility. I found a report called 'RSIR_BDS_CLEANUP' which I tried to run in our Sandbox system and it says it finds nothing to clean up.

Any advice would be appreciated,

Thank you for your assistance. We did find that documents are being scanned for POs.

That table is uses, if you use e. g. HR and "attach" contracts (as Word documents etc.) to your master data (general object services).

Check with transaction CSADMIN if you have a defined a repository in the system, that points to the "R/3 database" itself.
