Confirmed quantity

Hi Gurus!

I have strange problem.

I'm preparing a sales order.

I want to sell some material : 2000 units.

And a availability control shows that only 970 units is confirmed.

I checked with: mmbe , mb52 and mb5b and I have 2970 units of material in unrestricted use. So where could be a problem.

Dear Lukasz

This is because in availability check OVZ9 - for Availability Check (from Material MRP3) and Checking Rule (from SD Transaction Vov8)

, you might have ticked at the following

Include Reservation

Include Sales Requirement.

Incl.depen.reservat.

Incl.rel.order reqs

Incl. planned orders

Incl. production orders

All this tick will reserve the goods for sales orders, planned orders, and production orders.

I will give you one work around for this particular material go to VA05 and find the open sales order for this material and then by enter reason for rejection for some orders, automatically the material quantity will be released for confirmation.

Later after confirming you can remove the reason for rejection and your sales order will be open again in the system.

Hi Lukasz,

Kindly check the settings in "Carry out Availability check.." that proper stocks have been checked to carry out AC.
