What is promotion attributes and its role in Promotion planning ?

Hi,

Promotion attribute types are usually used as filter criterias for selection in the shuffler. So if a promotion attribute type say X is created with attributes such as A,B and C, you can use these criteiras in the shuffler to view promotion and adjustments if any are then made to the demand plan.

Yes, i agree with PV, promotion attribute types are to group together promotions with similar attributes. Promotion attribute types are used as a filter for selection and reporting purposes.
