Solution Manager Keys

Hi All,

This would not be the place to ask this ...sorry but there is no other go for me..

Iam installing SAP ERP 2005 on win2003 server with ORACLE DB.

I could not install Solution manager on my personel system.

but i need the SolMan key ,, system details are,

Instance Name: PTS

Instace Number: 02

Host Name: PythisSap

Could anybody help me out. its urgent.

Hello,

Follow this procedure.

1. Create an <b>OSS Message </b>

2. Enter the following data :

- Component : <b>SV-SMG</b>

- Short text : <b>Schluesselgenerierung</b>

- Long text :

a. System ID

b. System Number

c. Server

You go to www.service.sap.com and and order solution manager software and install solution manager in your company than you get sloution manager key.

Hi,

You have to generate this key from a Solution Manager system.

If you don't have a Solution Manager system you should install it first, or you have to contact SAP and ask them how to proceed.

(For SAP customers, a Solution Manager installation is of no extra cost, or you can say it is already paid for, as i know)
