In development server, by default document date is 03.05.2006
I would like to change it to present date.. where i have to configure??
Pls advise me.

Normally it is your system specific default date or system date that will get copied into that field.
Make sure your system is updated with current date.
Everything should be fine then...

You have to configure it in VOV8 for the doucment type.
NB
I take back this answer, as the field is not meant for document date, but for other dates

Can you kindly update us which is that field in VOV8?
As per me this date configuration is for requested delivery date/Pricing date.
Correct me if I am wrong.

i think the basis guys will be able to help you in this.
normaly it is the current date (System date) which is copied into this field by default.Check your devvelopment system's date.
