Can someone guide me over the points to be taken care of, while uninstalling the
IDES on a Windows Machine.

you will everything you need for uninstallation within the <b>installation guide</b> - usually section ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -> Deletion of a SAP System Installation

Please help me to get the exact link to installation guide at SMP for IDES.

that would depend on the sap release you want to de-install...usually all installation guides will be found under the alias INSTGUIDES @ SAPNet
and...there is no special IDES uninstallation procedure...just follow standard sap procedure..
