In real time at what circumstances we will go for Manual Output ?

Hi Ravi,

In most of the circumstances, I have only seen outputs being triggered by means of masterdata not manually.

Manual triggers will be done when there was some problem in first output due to lack of data/incorrect data etc and there is a need to create another output. Even in that case, if the documents are few, it will be manual, else it will be retriggered through programs like RSNAST00 which are meant for that.

Hi Ravi,

If i have understood your question correctly you are referring to Output determination process....

Outputs like LD00 or RD00 or BA00 being processed manually from different sales documents...

Normally outputs are processed immediately when the document is saved.

Else they will all be fetched in a batch job and they are processed.

Manual Ouput:

This option of manully printing delivery pack list say LD00 or Invoice print RD00 is done if the output is not processed successfully in the document.

If the batch job fails, then also output is processed manually.

If wrong printer is maintained or wrong medium in output of document, then it will not get processed. At that time also we will process output manully by correcting the printer name or ouput medium
