Search procedure

Hi gurus

Actually in Sales order in item details there is a field called Material and search help is attached with this field.

Actually it is a collective search help including of different search helps and it is showing me only seven and eight search helps.

I want to add one more search help in it.How to do that .

This is the customization part or abapers wil do .

I want to make a search help Material by Material type.

If it is customization then where to do that customization .Please reply as soon as possible.

Hi,

No dear it is not a customizing part.You will have to tell the abaper to do this.

He will create the new search strtegy for this field at table level.

kindly explore the matchcode functionality and screen user-exits. both require ABAP effort.

No. I don't think that you can add any more search parameter here as they are provided by the Standard SAP system.
