XI server, SAP MMC status:ended

Hi SAP gurus..

I had a problem in my server...I downloaded XI support packages(SP-9 to SP20) from SMP and i applied to kernal level first...then i started the server..<b>The status of the server went to ended...</b>..How to solve this problem..I have the back up of run folder...i copied that run files also..then restarted the computer..whenever i will start the server ..its status was ended...how to solve this problem..Please help me..

Hi Kimar,

In the MMC, have you looked at the error messages in the Dispatcher Trace file? What does it say? Did you Move your old kernel or Copy it to a backup location?

You need to look at the trace files to give you a clue as to the issues.

Hello,

Could you please check whether the database is up and running? You can do so by open a command line interface and enter

dbmcli -d NSP -u control,<PASSWORD> DB_STATE

where <PASSWORD> is the password you entered during installation. If the db is stopped, start it with

dbmcli -d NSP -u control,<PASSWORD> DB_ONLINE

and try to start the application server again. Please check also the file

%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\services

for entries on port 3600, 3900 and 8000.

Another thing you could check is the files stderr(0/1) in the folder

<INSTALL_DIR>\NSP\DVEBMSG00\work\stderr

for further information?

Thanks for helping. Now the problem is resolved actully someone has changed the parameter file in DATABASE initDEV E:\orant\DATABASE

Now I want one question if I forget password of SAP* in 000 (Default password 06071992 which I have changed)this is for future purpose.
