How to trigger Business Connector from SAP?

Hai all,

I want to send the IDOC from SAP to business connector and convert that to edi format. i dont know how to trigger the Business connector from SAP. For doing that we have give some command file in WE21 (port def.) in Outbund trigger tab of a file mode. i would like to know how to specify this command file of file mode?

Hi!

To be able to receive outbound calls from SAP on your BC you have to configure a "SAP Listener" for your SAP Backend. Activate it (green ball). The program-ID you define in the BC Listener screen has to be exactly the same as the program-ID specified in the corresponding RFC-Destination (SM59 - Type RFC, Switch to "Registration") in your SAP Backend.

Hello Siva,

As I understand you defined the port as a file port.

You should define it as a TRFC port and just write the correct RFC destination.

When you send the IDoc over this port it will go directly to BC.
