control of fields in sales order ?

hi,

can any one tell me how could i make some fields only in display mode in VA02.

(change sales order?,)

the user while creating the order --VA01the fields should/can be entered but the user should not be authorised to change the contents of the fields once the doc is saved

Along with those 2 options you mentioned, there is one more from the name of "<b>output only</b>"..you need to pick that one.

pls check the transaction SHDO or SDHO.

or else we hav to use userexit in order.

in SHD0 we have only invisible, not required. i could not find any thing to put it in display mode.

user exit any idea which one to use ?
