I'm having a problem during the RFCRDDGENMC_IND_IND phase where it doesn't seem to like the DDIC password.
1) I know I changed it to default prior to running CPC
2) This is the 3rd time I've done the CPC using the same Kernel version and the previous twice it went through fine.
3) I have upgraded to latest DW and Lib_Dbsl patches justin case.
4) I have successfully logged onto R/3 client000 as DDIC using the password I'm supplying.
5) In R/3 I'm getting a dump each time I try RFCRDDGENMC_IND_IND stating
The program "SAPMSSY1 " contains a CALL FUNCTION statement. The name
of the function module to be called is "ÙÆÃ×ÉÕÇ".
Help please.
Thanks
Steve
Hi Stephen,
did you check for all parameters and removed the 0120 entries of APPL-Server etc. ? I'm sure, there is at least one in ...
btw:
are you really certified ?

Of course you were right again Volker.
I had missed one of the 0120's.
My excuse is I was rushed into performing this test conversion which was supposed to happen at the weekend, but didn't due to a network error which prevented me reaching the machine. I now have all the developers pressing me "how long will it take?" "how much longer?"
I did attend your course about 18 months ago, but I am a customer not a consultant and so I don't perform this conversions often.
btw Our Production conversion is scheduled for weekend 24th Aug. I shall approach that much more carefully.
Thanks again
Steve
Hi Stephen,
ok, then I'm fine ...
I wish you good luck 24th Aug with your conversion ...
I at least I will have much fun on that weekend in my great hometown Neuss:
