free goods ??

hi all ,

i have a problem in free goods:

when the main item does not has stock and the free item has a stock,

the system thru the availability check has confirmed the material availability date for the main item which is after some 5 days from the current date and when i do the delivery with reference to the order on the same day the sub item is getting delivered without the main item and consequently the billing is done showing the netvalue as 0.

i have maintained the delivery control field in VBN1 also ?

my question is

1.how do i control the delivery of free item to happen only with the main item ?

Hi Sriram,

For your issue please use the T-code VBN1 and enter the Free goods Condition type. In the item level where you enter the Material there is a field - "Free goods delivery control" here for your requirement enter "B" i.e. Delivery only if main item is fully delivered.

Hi,

Iin VBN1 go to second last column which shows 'F'-this is free goods delivery control. Here you maintain 'B' delivery only if main item is fully delivered.
