Hi,

I am working on setting up a single sign-on system. After I am done with SPNego Configuration step (http://localhost:50000/spnego), I am unable to run the localhost server anymore (http://localhost:50000). My J2EE Engine is running fine, but what causes this problem?

This is the error report on the web browser when i try to run http://localhost:50000

503 Service Unavailable

Cannot process a request for dynamic resources.

Details:

Web Container service is currently unavailable.

Hi,

When I go to http://localhost:50000/irj, I get the same message on the browser;

"503 Service Unavailable

SAP J2EE Engine/6.40

Cannot process a request for dynamic resources.

Details:

Web Container service is currently unavailable."

Go into the visual administrator and look under server > services. The web container service should be there, check to see if it is set to "always" start.

Hi David,

I couldn't find the Visual Administrator. Could you please tell me the path how to get there? I always use configtool.bat, RemoteGUI.bat, but I never used Visual Administrator.

C:\usr\sap\XXX\JC00\j2ee\admin\go.bat

XXX is the system name. You will need the J2EE admin password to gain access.

Hi,

I found it, but it rejects my attempt to connect to localhost. "Cannot open connection on host: 10.14.87.141 and port: 50000"

You should be connecting at port 50004. (for a default set up)

It displayed "Unexpected exception.; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.service.rmi_p4.NoSuchObjectException: ID:011781:Object<security> when I changed to port 50004 for the default set up.

You may have missed a step creating the .krb key on the Active Directory server. You may have to go back to step one and recheck everything.

HI David,

If I understand correctly, .krb key is krb5.conf, right? I couldn't find the instruction about .krb key, so I don't know if I have missed it. I went back to the first step and re-checked again. I still got the same error message. Also, I still cannot run my localhost server.
