WebAS Java behind proxy

Former Member

Hi

Since my WebAS J2EE server is behind a proxy, any application from within the server is not able to connect to the internet for ex: webdynpro application is not able to collect data from a webservice.

I've gone through previous posts but were not quite useful.

I tried applying parameters to the server0 java process

(-DproxyHost=xxxx -DproxyPort=xxxx) but it doesnt help.

Thanks in advance,

Rajit

Hi Rajit,

Check following posts for the same.

If you are using Proxy in between and this proxy requires Authentication then you have to manually authenticate as explained in this post.

In your logical port, you can specify your proxy ip and port information.

The following article might be helpful:

Apart from that, the proxy host and port can be configured in the Web AS, ask your Web AS administrator about that.

I don't think this is really a Web Dynpro related problem. Maybe you'd better post your question in one of the other forums. I also believe there's already quite some information on this subject on SDN. Just try using the Search and see what SDN has to offer.
