blocking sales order?

can any one send me the procedure to block a sales order thru vd05.

To block the Sales Order Entry for a particular customer perform the foll steps in VD05.

Enter the Customer No. and Sales Area

If you want to block the customer for a specific sales area then use the "Selected Sales Area" option and enter value "01".

Hi Ganesh,

In VD05, you have two options,

One is to block a certain customer from any sales related activities..

Second is to block the customer for a specific sales organization or distribution channel or division...based on creation of sales orders, deliveries blockings and billing blockings...

If you want to block an exixting sales order, then in the overview screen

Go to Sales tab page, Select either Delivery Block from say 01 to 10

Or you can select Billing Block from say 01 to 10.

It depends on your requirement.

VD05 is overall blocking of a customer. To block the sales order use status profile.

One can assign blocking reason for all the sales areas,for sales order,deliveries,billing.

For blocking the sales documents

Path=IMGSDSALESSALES DOCUMENTSDEFINE AND ASSIGN REASONS FFOR BLOCKING.

Dear Ganesh,

In VD05, there are 3 three options like Sales order block,delivery block and shipping block.If you want to block sales order put '01' as overall block in the "All sales area " field and save it.

Your order will get blocked.
