Error Solution Manager 4.0 SR2

Hi,

I have got a big problem:

I have a machine with

Kernel : Linux sapdev32 2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp

GLIBC : 2.3.2-95.33

When I start sapinst, I have got the following problem :

/tmp/sapinst_exe.19415.1185270393/sapinstexe: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.4' not found (required by /tmp/sapinst_exe.19415.1185270393/sapinstexe)

/tmp/sapinst_exe.19415.1185270393/sapinstexe: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.4' not found (required by /tmp/sapinst_exe.19415.1185270393/iastring701.so)

I have on the same host a MYSAP ERP 2004

I could not change anything

Could you help me ?

Hello Philippe ,

It is clearly mention in the error : GLIBC_2.3.4' not found

Please install / update to GLIBC_2.3.4 ( GLIBC ) before proceding further .

If I upgrade GLIBC.

Will there not be errors with myERP2004 ?

No there will not be any error with myERP2004.

Please follow the recommendation of the SAP Installation Prerequisite check.
