variant configuration...

Dear All,

We r using Variant configuration and as u know we defined characteritics & characteristic values.For eg.

Characteristic----width

Characteristic values-----1mm,2mm,3mm,4mm,5mm etc.

but our requirement is whenever there is a diff. value other than these mm's , we need to write our own values/text such as 10mm or 25 mm like that. according to the need.

Is it possible in this context...kindly clarify.

Just clik the Additional values in the characteristic, then you can add ur own values when configuring the material in sales order.

Hi,

It is possible. Go to T code CT04 , then tab values, check 'additional values' and you are done. In sales order processing you will get a blank field along with defined values and you can enter your value there.

Hi Krishna,

It is very much possible. All you need to do is use T-code - CT04 and enter your Characteristic and GOto VALUES tab. Here tick mark the "Additional Values" option just above the Allowed values options.

This will solve your querry.

Hi Krishna,

Just tick the checkbox 'Additional Values' available in Tab 'Values' for your char. width in T.Code CT04.
