Dear all,
I'm getting the following message when starting the IB:
<b>Authorization error; unknown user name or incorrect password</b>
I have tried:
- re-initialisation
- removing contents of C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws\http\D[mydir]
- Checking SU01: I have the appropriate authorisations and all is green.
Before this weekend it worked perfectly. That was via VPN.
Now I'm directly on the network and it won't work. It has worked before on the network.
I'm running JAVA 2 SDK SE v1.3.1.
I can get in the system through SAP logon, but not in the IB.
Please suggest.
Cheers,
Auke

I had this error recently and it was due to an error in the UME.
The server was restarted and the UME was reset, and I was able to log in.
