i am not using and proxies but iam using a file adapter in sender side and XI adapter in receving side , and i am calling a RFC in the mapping , instead of using a RFC adapter i am using XI adapter is possiable , if so what is the parametrs i must give XI adapter confirguration please help in this thanking you

Hi Sridhar !!
If u r using Proxy , then you can use XI Adapter to communuicate with SAP Legacy System , otherwise u must have to go for RFC adapter .
main use of XI adapter is is for communication with Integration Server and proxy runtime(java proxy or ABAP proxy ).
at SDN there is lots of Blog . for this File to RFC scenario,
just go with that , you will get the deatils in depth ..

Not possible.
XI adapter is for communication with Integration Server and proxy runtime only.

Answer is NO. If your not using proxies then you can't use XI adapter go for RFC adapter.
