please explain the Shippment document creation VT01N steps?

and VIo1 steps?

at the time of creating VT01N that is asking transport plning point, what is that where we should create that?

and that is asking shipment type,and selection variant,what is that and how can we create those?

hi friend i created only Route determination only i didn't configar any shiping settings so please explain shiping steps?

Hi

Transportation planning Point: The transportation planning point is responsible for planning shipments with particular features. A shipment is assigned to one transportation planning point; a planning point is also used for the transportation cost settlement since it is linked with company code.

SPRO > Enterprise structure > LE > Maintain transportation planning point.

Shipment type:A shipment type is a centralized document type that controls the activity of the shipment document and the subsequent activities.

The standard shipment type will be used (0001 Indiv.Shipmt – Road, so the settings should be ready). If the settings already exist, then the following activity is performed as a check.

SPRo > LE > Transportation > Shipments > Define shipment types.

You create a shipment document when the goods are relevant for delivery in the sales order. After you create a sales order, you create a delivery. The delivery must have a route in the transportation tab. Then you can club different deliveries in a shipment document. These are the bare minimum required for creation of a shipment document with one stage.
