Switching Language / display texts in "local language"

Hi experts,

my WD-Application contains a drop-down-box, that contains several languages.

By changing the language, an event is triggered and local language is changed by "set local language ....".

I would have expected, that - due to server round trip - DDIC-texts would be displayed in changed local language - but it doesn't work.

Texts are still displayed in that language, the application has been started.

Any idea, how to handle this?

A simple way is to use and exit plug to call the same Application

Add the sap-language=xx to the APPLICATION URL

eg http://<host>:port/great_app?sap-language=XX

There maybe a cool Framework method to attach the session directly.

But until you locate that, this is easy and it works.
