hi sd gurus, i have 1 doubt,automaic po, in doc type,and itemcategry has any relvence in thirdparty order..?

when we check that button, it means there will be automatic purachse order is raised the momemnt we save the order.is it usefull in thirdparty order?

please explein me

If it an external procurement at schedule line level system will generate PO automatically.

Hi Vivek,

Purchase requisition and Purchase order are triggered when a sales order is saved.This is activated at schedule line level.

U go to define schedule line, in Business data scree, v have order type. Maintain the relevent order type there and a PR is automaticaly created when an order is saved. To be mention, Schedule line determination is carried out.
