Unable to start SAP

Hi All,

I am getting following error while starting SAP.

System is 4.6B/oracle 9.2.0.8/AIX 5

Error I am getting in startdb.log is as below:

tnsping: V2 connect to T21

Connect to the database to check the database state:

R3trans: connect check finished with return code: 12

Database not available

Shutdown database

First trying to shutdown the database - May be,

Notify Database Administrator.

Please suggest some solution

Hi,

did u check libjox9.a accessibility? It looks like u were missing file or have insufficient access rights.

Try to copy the above said file from other systems where SAP is running fine ( Same oracle version and OS)...

Most of the time..it solves your problem.
