Hi,

I recently changed the Administrator user in Configtool. I also rebooted the system. But I'm still getting an authentication failure whenever I'm loggin in the Portal. Are there some steps that I missed? Thanks!

Hello Lee,

Check and paste the logs from :- \usr\sap\SID\DVE.....\j2ee\cluster\server0\log.

Hello Jafer,

These are the last few lines of the server0/log/defaultTrace.log file

I'm not sure why it has an error message of Instance not found in the log when the portal is up. The only error that I got when logging in as Administrator in the portal is user authentication failure.

Hi Lee,

Try to use the correct password. Else, try to restart the j2ee engine and try again.

Thanks and Regards,
