problems with clicking on Jva client and Linux

Hello!

I got SAPGUI7.00rev4 working on my Slackware 12 PC.

being just a small fish, my role is to add yet another "OK" to invoices.

My big problem: When I am about to acknowledge/reject document,

field is selected, but mouse clicks are ignored and no action taken.

Otherwise, I can walk around menus, add atachemnts, forward invoice to someone else...

Fresh KDE + java 1.6 here, so I tried on older PC with older KDE and java 1.5.

Same behaviour.

Local support is as expected: Install Windows. They even claimed that SAP never

worked on linux etc ...

As there is nothing simmilar on forums here, it seems to be local "feature".

Maybe translation? Some texts are slovene, others english, some mixed.

As I tried on two different boxes, where I run plenty of other java stuff,

somehow I doubt it is just my swing feature.

Now... I am quite lost in both java and SAP (newcommer), otherwise I run linux as my work desktop almost 10 years.

Best reagrds, thanks,

Iztok

I don't have an idea what could cause your problem. But I had a look at might also be an idea.

Best regards,

Hi!

I had activeX32 activated in personal settings.

(Workflow settings->Personal settings, translation from slovene)

local guru figured it out, after he realized I am not talking about Wintendo.

It never occured to me for linux SW (it is in PlatinGUI-Linux-700r4.jar name)

not to disable such wierd functions.

Good to know...
