How to put a checkbox in a smartform ?

Hi all,

I have a requirement where i need a checkbox inside the smartform and this checkbox needs to be checked according to the data populated in the form.

( like: if value is populated in a variable the checkbox needs to be checked else if the variable is initial then the checkbox shouldn't be checked).

Can anybody suggest a solution to this.

Hi,

Create a Text element in the smartform, then go the 'WEB PROPERTIES' Tab of text element. Here provide the Feld name & ther is a 'INPUT TYPE' column. Go for the Drop down list there you have an option called CHECKBOX.

Solution 1:

You can print a check box in different ways.. by inserting symbols and making window as check box..

once go through the thread u will get to k now differnt ways

Solution 2:

To use Check box in smartform do the following:

Change the editor to 'PC Editor' and take the menu.

in text editor of TEXT ELEMENTS..

Insert -> Characters -> SAP Symbols

in print preview u can't see these changes..
