Hi

I am following this weblog

My sourcer file contains some text.

But in sxmb_moni--->Request Message Mapping--->Payload

A semi colon character was expected. Error processing resource

and

1. I want to know Is there any format that I need to follow?

2. what and how should be the content of the file to be picked up ?

Thanks

srini

Hey

your source file must have

Subject,From,To and Content tags,

it will be same as the XML file in the blog

Thanx

Srini,

The source can be any structure. You have to do mapping in order to map the target XSD.

Ahmad, please correct me if i'm wrong!!! The blog gives us the inbound payload. The source payload can be of any structure, am I right?

Hey Raj

yes you are right:) you can give any tag names for Subject,To,From etc but see the thing is , its always convenient to give the correct name.

for e.g you can have a Tag in the sender side by the name <ssssss> and map this to <subject> tag on the receiver side, but this <ssssss> tag wont make sense,it should be something which follows the general convention so i suggested using <subject> etc tags on sender side as well.

Thanx

Ahmad

Thanks for the reply Ahmad and Raj .

Hi Ahmad,

Does this work with SP9? Because I am working on XI 3.0 SP09.

The weblog says:

If you have XI SP10 you can check the mail adapter status in the Adapter Monitor. In this case I dont want to check the mail adapter status in the Adapter Monitor

Thanks,

srini

Srini,

It will work with SP9. I checked the releases, they haven't added this functionality to any releases. So it implies that its available from the basic release itself. I mean you can work this functionality in any SP. Try it and let us know the results.
