i am very confusing to understand background jobs in basis.ECC 5.0.plz any one help me.how to understnd the system.

Hi,
Don't worry!!!! It's very easy to understand about Background jobs.
Ex.
A single program execution time can be either 1 min or 5 hrs. If it's a small programs then it''ll be executed by Dialog WP and if it's a large one then we have to process it in background so that those dialog WP will be free for other users.
Executing that prg. in background will be carried out by Background work process.
Go Ahead!!!!!!!
