Screen is not changing from the display mode to edit mode

scenario is FILE2IDOC

in configuration

in Bussiness System --> service -->adpater specific identifier .....we need to give logical system...

the problem wht iam facing is the screen is not changing from display mode to EDIT mode..wht might be problem.

reply will be greatly appreciated,

Hey,

Sorry ur using a Business system then why will you manually specify Adapter

Specific Identifier in ID. It can only be done if you are using a Business Service.

In case of business system you need to specify in the sld.

Might be,

1.The integration scenario is not modifiable mode

2. Or the Page might be edited by another person using same userid.

(meaning to say it might be Locked, unlock it).

OR

If you are trying edit values in <i>Adapter Specifi Values window</i>, you <b>cannot</b> edit values in this window. The values will be picked up from SLD. There is button to do so in the same window.

Hey,

Either it might be locked or select or juz once check out in the IR wether s/w component version that you are using is is having object attributes -> objects are modifiable ticked..

Are you modifying a BS of R/3 that you imported from SLD?

if yes, then you can't do that
