hi all
how to collect idocs into one file then send to XI without using BPM.
I have refer to the blog :/people/stefan.grube/blog/2006/09/18/collecting-idocs-without-using-bpm,
my question is if i config the receive port as the IDOC_FILE, how to send data to XI. before ,i have configured the receive port with XI.

Firstly
It always better if you follow naming conventions when you define the PORTS.
It has to be (SID + Client).
Have you followed the last step as suggested by stefen ?
Schedule report RSEOUT00 with a variant where you assign the IDoc type, the xml port and the number of IDocs which shall be collected.
use tcode -> se37 -> enter the report name -> RSEOUT00 -> press execute / f8.
Run this report. The data will be collected in a file. Location of the file will be same as that you have specified in the first step i.e create an XML file port -> outbound file -> directory -> The path is mentioned there.
Now use a normal file -> target scenario.

For tis blog, u have to use file adapter at sender
Without this, if u directly want to send Idoc to XI, then no need to create any communication channel. Only ALE settings r required.
