Hey,

Firstly

It always better if you follow naming conventions when you define the PORTS.

It has to be (SID + Client).

Have you followed the last step as suggested by stefen ?

Schedule report RSEOUT00 with a variant where you assign the IDoc type, the xml port and the number of IDocs which shall be collected.

use tcode -> se37 -> enter the report name -> RSEOUT00 -> press execute / f8.

Run this report. The data will be collected in a file. Location of the file will be same as that you have specified in the first step i.e create an XML file port -> outbound file -> directory -> The path is mentioned there.

Now use a normal file -> target scenario.

For tis blog, u have to use file adapter at sender

Without this, if u directly want to send Idoc to XI, then no need to create any communication channel. Only ALE settings r required.
