Account xxxxx blocked for creation in chart of account xxx

Hi experts,

When creating an account via trcode FS00 I get error as:"Account xxxxx blocked for creation in chart of account xxx."

How can I correct the error?

Hi,

When using T-code FS00 do the following:

Enter the GL a/c no. and press the LOCK icon beside Mark for deletion icon. This Lock (Block) icon will take you to the options

• Blocked for creation

• Blocked for Posting

• Blocked for Planning &

• Blocked for Posting (in company code)

Here remove the Blocked for Creation.

Hi,

Go to "FSP0", enter your G/L acc. and Chart of accounts.

Go to Main menu G/L acc.> Block form there remove the check at "Blocked for creation" and save it.
