Hi Datt,
Minimum Order Values - AMIW & AMIZ
You May Create Minimum Value For Each Order Using Condition Type AMIW
If Value Of Order Falls Short Of This Minimum Oder Value During Pricing, The System Will Copy It As The Net Order Value
Minimum Order Value Is Statistical Condition
Condition Type AMIW Is Group Condition And Is Divided Among Different Items
According To Item Value
AMIZ Gives The Difference Between Original Net Value And AMIW
In standard system AMIW(Minimum SalesOrdrVal) and AMIZ (Minimum ValueSurchrg)condition type can be used for this purpose. make sure both the conditioin type are in your pricing procedure. We can maintain condition record (in VK11) for AMIW.
Eg. The minimum order value ( AMIW ) is maintained as Rs.500. the customer has placed order for Rs.200. In the order minimum order value (AMIW) is taken as order value. Minimum order value surcharge (AMIZ) of Rs.300 (Rs.500-Rs.200) is charged.

hi,
example:
You can specify a minimum order value for sales order processing. The following example illustrates how this function is used:
You specify a minimum order value of USD 200.
During sales order processing, the net value (after discounts and freight, before taxes) of an incoming order is USD 190.08.
During pricing, the system determines that the net value falls below the minimum order value and calculates a minimum-order-value surcharge. In this example, the surcharge equals USD 9.92.
The minimum order value and the surcharge appear as separate lines in the pricing screen. The minimum value is for information purposes only, and does not affect pricing. The system automatically adjusts the net value of the order (before taxes) to the minimum value allowed.
If you use minimum-order-value requirements, you must create condition records for condition type AMIW. In these condition records, you specify customers and the corresponding minimum order values. During pricing, the system automatically uses these condition records as a reference for determining the relevant minimum order surcharges (condition type AMIZ). In the standard version, condition type AMIZ refers to AMIW. This means that the system automatically calculates values for AMIZ conditions; you do not need to create separate condition records

hi
here is one example
A company would like to define minimum order values for their customers. As an example, a minimum order value of 200 USD is defined for Customer A. If Customer A places an order for anything less than 200 USD (before taxes), the system should automatically compute a surcharge equal to the difference and apply it to the order. To accomplish this, the user would configure pre-delivered condition types AMIW and AMIZ in their pricing procedure as defined above and maintain a condition record for AMIW and Customer A equal to 200 USD.
remeber these important settings
formula 13 should be assigned to AMIZ ans subtotal D for AMIW
Thanks
Vishal
Hi,
AMIW - minimum sales order value, here u maitain the minimum sales oder value to be for ex Rs. 5000, the system will check if the minimum value is 5k and then process the order document further.
If however, the document value is not 5000, we use the condition type AMIZ - which is minimum value surcharge where in if the order quantity is = 4500, system adds another 500rs (surcharge) to make the order value to 5000rs. here we use the alternative cal type 13 (formula) for the system to add surcharge equal to the difference and apply it to the order. Thus any order the business takes should be equal to 5000rs.
This is usually done assuming the price of 10 units is 4900 and quantitiy of 11 units is 5390, where the customer is not willing to take the extra quantity, here we have a flexbility of adding a surcharge of 10 rs (since the min order quantity is 5000rs) where both the customer and the business is at benefit.
