Hi,

how to create material for particular sold to party

for testing purpose i have sold to party SQ2001 , in order to create delivery order i need to enter material , how to create material?

not really sure whats the confusion doing this. Just create a material using MM01.

test it for this sold to party by creating the order as usual. If you feel this material should be restricted for other sold to's then list this material for your test customer.

Hi

We can't create the material for the particular sold to party .We do the same for the plant , sales org, distribution, and storage location

Goto va01 and give the orde type or and the sales org distribution division and sold to party and ship to party .....what u need to do is u have to see that the customer and the material are created in the same sales organisation and distrubution

after the order created and saved u can deliver the order

Material as such is created as Material & can be used by any Sold-To-Party. It is not created as a material for Sold-To-Party. However, it is in manual control if we want a particular material to be used for only one sold-to-party.

hi,

we will create material normally.

by using material listing & exclusion we can make settings like the material can be ordered by certain customer(Sold to Party) only.

we cannot create a material for a particular sold-to-party.

we create a material in reference to a sales organisation , distribution channel , divison,plant

go to transaction code mm01 and create a material.

if you want to use this material only for a particular customer then you can use a concept called exclusion in SAP by which you can exclude this material to the other customer and give the material to a particular customer only

First of all, your check the sales area of this sold-to-party in the xd03, then your create this material under this sales area in MM01.
