New customer can not be save

Hi Fiends

I trying to create new customer using sale are 0001/01/01, 1000/10/00 and tried all sales area but i facing one common error - after entering all the entries in general data, company code data and sales area data, when i save customer it gives error "ACCOUNT.... ALREADY EXIST"

Please any one can send me solution to fix this problem

Ensure to do the following configuration, so that Customer Master can be created:

<b>Defining Common Distribution Channels for Master Data</b>

Use

The purpose of this activity is to define distribution channels which have common master data..

Procedure

Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

IMG Menu -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Define Common Distribution Channels

Transaction Code: VOR1

Note: Ideally we maintain the same Distribution Channel as original, unless we want to use as common.

Use

The purpose of this activity is to define distribution channels which have common master data..

Procedure

Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

IMG Menu -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Define Common Division

Transaction Code: VOR2

Note: Ideally we maintain the same ivision as original, unless we want to use as common.

hi,

just find out if u have mantianded coomn disribution chnannels..

OR if u have given number ranges as exl..probaly that number range wud have already used..

hope it may find u way to solve the problem
