SAP4.6C PLM, DMS Loading DIRs with originals(CAD VIEWER FILES,MS WORD)

Hi,

I need information on loading legacy DMS data( Document Info Record with Documents like MSword,CAD drawings,viewer files) into SAP R/3 4.6C.

Please send me the links or step by step proceduce either by LSMW OR CATT.

This is urgent please help me in doing this.

is it possible to upload a ZIP file in the DIR?.If yes then give me the step by step procedure for uploading it.Since this is very urgent pls respond ASAP.

Hi Tom,

You can create a BDC Programm and generate an excel sheet for uploading the DIRs with their respective attachments (like *.WRD, *.XL, *.ACD etc)

A good ABAP programmer will search a function module or he will call a BApi for this validations building within BDC

you have to do this with iDOC along with help from ABAP
